This illustration celebrates Lu Dort’s return to his Montréal-Nord roots to parade the Larry O’Brien Trophy in the summer of 2025.

I wanted the piece to reflect both his Haitian heritage and his Canadian identity, blending symbols from his Montreal neighborhood with the colors of his NBA team.

It’s a tribute to where he comes from, what he’s achieved, and the pride he brings back home.

Of course, I was able to print a copy for him to keep, and one for me which he signed.
